Kunveno’s brief history or background
Founded in 2021, Kunveno emerged from a collaboration with the Next Generation Internet research group at the Technical University of Madrid (UPM-GING). Our flagship ecosystem, work3spaces, is a work in progress development intended to address the inefficiencies in the freelance digital market by utilising blockchain technology to eliminate intermediaries and ensure freelancers retain full control over their work and earnings.

Team members
Co-founder and CEO of Kunveno, Susana has an exceptional academic and professional background in blockchain technology applied to business and project management. She holds a Master’s degree in Linguistics and is a certified Expert in international R&D&I project management from the Technical University of Madrid (UPM). She has completed the Oxford Blockchain Strategy Programme at the University of Oxford and, as an ISO expert in blockchain technology and innovation, she actively participates in industry-leading working groups, including the Focus Group on Blockchain & DLT at the European Digital SME Alliance. Over the past five years, Susana has played a key role in designing and launching several tech startups, demonstrating her entrepreneurial drive and deep expertise in applying blockchain technology to business environments.

Co-founder and CMO of Kunveno, César brings a strong academic background and extensive professional experience in business management and innovative project development. He holds a Master’s degree in Specialised Translation from the Complutense University of Madrid (UCM) and has completed advanced programs in Business Excellence for Strategic Growth at the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA), and Innovation Management at the Global Innovation Management Institute (GIMI). Over the past four years, César has played a pivotal role in scaling multiple startups, notably serving as Director of Operations and Alliances at Ubiqus. His professional expertise encompasses finance, marketing, operations, and strategic partnerships, with a particular focus on fostering blockchain-powered communities and driving collaboration within Web3 ecosystems.
PhD, Technology Advisor
PhD in Telecommunications Engineering from the Technical University of Madrid (UPM) and associate professor, his teaching activity focuses on various undergraduate and master’s degrees and he participates in courses related to blockchain, web technologies, programming, databases, software engineering, and network computing. As a member of the Next Generation Internet Group UPM-GING, his research focuses on blockchain, digital identity, web technologies, network computing, and mobile applications. He is involved in both European and Spanish research projects on DLT, including eID4U, CEF eID-FIWARE, FI-Core, FI-Ware, etc. He is responsible for guiding the architecture and supervising the technical work of the development team.
Financial Advisor
BA in Economics from the Autonomous University of Madrid (UAM) and Philosophy from the University of Valladolid, with solid experience in financial management, asset management, R&D&I consultancy, new product development, and business strategy for startups. He has extensive experience in developing financial and business plans for innovation-oriented companies. He has collaborated for more than 10 years with the RTDI Innovation School. He has also worked with Matical Innovation in drafting proposals for the Horizon 2020 and Horizon Europe programmes. He regularly collaborates as a coach with Madri+d, the Madrid Institute for Advanced Studies (IMDEA), and the Madrid Chamber of Commerce.
